xp fax monitor
While sending or receiving faxes, the fax monitor no
longer pops up and when I manually bring it up , it shows nothing on it. I have checked fax properties which shows under tracking : 1. At top a red check with a exclamation mark 2. Notifcationn Area is all ckecked 3. Fax Monitor is also checked for automatically opening the fax monitor when a fax is being sent and received. I uninstalled Windows fax and installed again , but I get the same problem. I am running Windows xp Home Edition (sp1) and Norton Internet Security 2004.

A number of standard update and repair procedures disabled the Fax Monitor
in the initial release of Windows XP. These problems were fixed in Service Pack 1.
