Lexmark 1020 color jet printer
I have installed the driver for XP that I got off of the
lexmark site and I still cannot get the printer to communicate with the computer. It does not print, clean or align cartridges. I know in windows 98SE the printer had it's own program but I can not find it for XP. Is it suppose to have its' own program or just use XPs'. If it was not hooked up correctly would XP tell me if the printer was not connected? I really need help with this. |

Lexmark 1020 color jet printer
It's a Lexmark. Disconnect the printer from the PC. Carefully follow ALL
the instructions at Bruce Sanderson's website http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm Reboot. Download a new set of drivers from www.lexmark.com Install the software. Do NOT reconnect the printer until the software tells you to do so. -- Cari (MS-MVP Windows Client - Printing, Imaging & Hardware) www.coribright.com "mandy" wrote in message ...
