Hi
Have you had a look in the Event Viewer to see if any reference has been made in there with regards to the problem? -- Will Denny MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "Trevor Appleton" wrote in message ... Hi
You only need to provide the Event ID and Source. Then someone may be able to point you towards a possible solution. I agree with Li'l Roberto - your PC's temp is too high. -- Will Denny MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "Trevor Appleton" wrote in message ... Children should not play with things they do not understand. 65 degrees Celsius should be your temps *AT LOAD*. Most processors are only rated to 70 to 75 degrees Celsius. Your temps are very much out of line. If it under warranty, demand it be fixed properly. Once again, your temps should only rise to above 60 degrees Celsius when under full load (gaming, etc). Its under warranty. The engineer put a new fan in yesterday. It sounded
like a vacuum cleaner before but is now quite. Its a liquid cooled fan. More than likely the new fan will solve your problem Its freezing up even more with the new fan Doesn't look good, could be those excessive temps have damaged your CPU, NoNoBadDog! is right on the money - 65C should be your max temp. Luckily for you the PC is still under warranty good luck rgds Li'l Roberto |
