Default "FINALLY" after a year & a half Messenger works!!!

Finally Microsoft has gone & fixed MSN Messenger. It made my day.

Since I have been computing for over a year and a half, I have always had
sound problems with MSN (& Windows) Messenger. Specifically, I could hear
anyone, but they couldn't hear me. My meter moved when I talked, so that
part of it was set up correctly. Even back in June 2003 when I bought the
computer that got me started in computing, for 6 weeks my friend and me
had sound problems, then mysteriously one day it worked. That last for
maybe 3 months. He had a modest home network at the time.=. I've ended
up with one. But it has always been me not being heard - doesn't matter
what computer I used. And problems going back previously to me using a
router. I gave up on MSN & went Yahoo all of the way. Forced to really.
MSN is superior in files transferring - Yahoo has a 5 MB limit I believe,
So us Yahooers still kept MSN around for files transferring.

Well now today, sending my friend a file, I finally said yet one more time
"let's try voice again, there was an upgrade.". "Holy guacamole
batman"!!! Perfect voices both ways!!

Now, I don't want to hear "it was because you were behind a firewall".
That doesn't cut it - one reason is I went through the port forwarding
thing & still no luck. Second reason - it shouldn't matter. Never ever
had a problem with any aspects of Yahoo Messenger. Except direct to
direct files transfers - firewalls both of us, but still could upload to
their server somewhere and do it that way. But why do it when MSN
Messenger is so superior for files transfers anyway. But I know the
whole design of the Microsoft Messenger programs had a flaw in them &
voice problems occurred for some poor saps like me...

...D.

This might open up a whole new world for me... I'm back MS... Maybe a
little gaming now, and a few other things.
