Can "Setup Log Files" be deleted ?
Dear Expert on Microsoft XP,
Among the list of items on the "Disc Cleanup" window there is one called "Setup Log Files" about which the "?" says that these are "Files created by Windows". My qustion is:- Can "Setup Log Files" be deleted ? Looking forward to your reply, Regards, Urban |

Then MOVE to /Discards any files you want to get rid of, reboot and run as normal. If any of these files is called for (File Not Found) you can COPY it back where the Registry expects to find it: and if there is no trouble you can wipe all contents of /Discards next week or whenever it comes to mind. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |
