Windows & MSN Messager
Greetings Paul,
Unfortunately Windows 2000 only supports MSN Messenger 6.1's "Webcam" support and does not support Windows Messenger's "Start Camera" or "Start Videoconference" functionality (what it's referring to in MSN Messenger 6.1 running under Windows XP). As such, the Windows XP user will need to install MSN Messenger 6.x and use that client instead in order to have video support: http://messenger.msn.com/Download You could also use Netmeeting instead, but it's probably not worth the work involved. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Paul" wrote in message ...
