trouble w/clean disk

WinXP Home- I think all this trouble is from teenager
downloading junk. Having trouble deleting "fun" stuff
like Weatherbug and Daily Horoscope....computer is a bit
slow to start up.

Problem #1: "clean disk" won't run. Have run defrag,
Adaware, Spybot, etc. Everything else seems ok, (except
for above deletion of "fun" stuff).

Problem #2: shareware program PAL Solutions shows lots of
reistry errors,is there a repair I can do myself? (low
to moderate technical experience).

Try the following web sites for troubleshooting suggestions:

down to Line #48. In the right-hand window, click on
"Disk Cleanup - Compress Old Files Freezes"

Simply click on Kelly's fix, download the registry fix, then run it.
(Note: Disable your antivirus program before running the repair script)

Uninstall "PAL Solutions", then reinstall it.
