GPU graphs in Task Manager
Both my own laptops were upgraded win7-win8-win10 and both were giving
me different issues with a USB audio interface not working properly. So I decided it was the right time to wipe and do a fresh install of 1709 on my "work" laptop, having done so I now get two extra graphs (GPU0=Intel HD Graphics and GPU1=AMD FirePro) in the Performance tab of Task Manager. Now I've noticed it, MS do mention it was coming in 1709 https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/directx/2017/07/21/gpus-in-the-task-manager But my "home" laptop which was upgraded to 1709, not a fresh install, does not show a graph for the Intel HD Graphics, presumably (despite getting an upgraded driver with 1709) it doesn't have a WDDMv2 driver for its lower spec GPU? |
