Restrict Access
On Windows 2000:
Start-Run, gpedit.msc User Configuration-Administrative Templates-System Configure "Prevent access to the command prompt" John Lambert[MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. -----Original Message----- Can someone please tell me how to restrict my users from being able to access the cmd.exe (command prompt). Someone once mentioned to do this in Local Policy and then someone else in Group Policies. A simple step-by-step explanation would be much appreciated. Thank you Stacey .
