Default Problem with setting up local printer in network

I have numerous local printers and lately there are two of them that will not
print in the network. Local PC's are XP SP3 the server is Windows Server
2008 64bit. When setting up the printers on the local I have shared the
printers and selected to list in the directories.

Usually I then login to the server as administrator, go to control panel,
printers and add a printer. When in the add printer area I select "add a
network printer". I then choose "the printer that I wnat isn't listed". At
the next sreen I "select a shared printer by name". For all of my other
printers all I had to do is to type in the path example \\HRM\HP4300. This
would usually find the printer that I'm looking for and install it on the
server.

Two of my users printers are not showing up and when I try to add them I get
an error message that appears to be referencing permissions. "Windows cannot
connect to the printer. Operation could not be completed (error 0X0000052e)
or (error 0x0000035).

Is there somewhere on these PC's that needs to get special permissions.
It's like the PC thinks its Vista instead of XP. Can anyone help please.
