I see it. If you see this...
To Show Replies to your Messages hit Ctrl + H. Hit Ctrl + H again to Show All Messages. Or... To view only replies to your newsgroup messages On the View menu, point to Current View, and then select Show Replies to my Messages. To group messages and their replies When many people participate in e-mail and newsgroup conversations, the replies to a given message can be hard to track. You can set up Outlook Express so that message replies are grouped under the original message. You can then choose to view only the original message, or the message and all its replies. • When you are in either your Inbox or a newsgroup, on the View menu, point to Current View, and then select Group Messages by Conversation. • To display expanded conversations for all messages, on the Tools menu, click Options, click the Read tab, and then select Automatically expand grouped messages. Note • To display the original message and all replies to it, double-click the plus sign ( + ) to the left of the original message. To display only the original message, double-click the minus sign ( - ) next to the message. • Conversations are grouped according to the title of the original message. For example, if the message that starts a conversation is titled "Ideas for using Outlook Express," all replies to that message will be titled " Ideas for using Outlook Express." To use views to read messages Outlook Express has default views that you can use to avoid having to create custom views. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click one of the following options: • Show All Messages. This view shows all the messages in one of your folders, such as your Inbox--new and old, read and unread. • Hide Read Messages. This view hides all the messages you've read, leaving only the messages you have not read. • Show Downloaded Messages (use only with IMAP and newsgroups). This view displays the messages that were most recently downloaded from the server. • Show Replies to my Messages (use only with newsgroups). This view displays only messages that are replies to a message you posted on a newsgroup. • Hide Read or Ignored Messages. This view hides messages that you have read or that you have applied the Ignore Conversation command to. You can also choose to arrange Inbox messages by subject. To do this, on the Current View menu, click Group Messages by Conversation. ----- Use the preview pane to view messages The preview pane lets you view message contents without opening the message in another window. To preview a message, click its title once. To open it in its own window, double-click the title. You can position the preview pane either below the message list or beside it; you can choose to display or hide the message header; or you can hide the preview pane entirely. 1.. On the View menu, click Layout. 2.. In the Preview Pane area, select the options you want and then click OK. Note • To resize the preview pane and the message list, point to the divider between them until you see a double arrow, and then drag the divider up or down. View only unread news messages in a newsgroup • Open the newsgroup. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Hide Read Messages. -- Hope this helps. Let us know.
