Default Exclusive control over the registry...........

I am the administrator of a Window's XP Pro machine.

I have found several items using AD-Aware, Spybot, and V-
Com registry repair that should not be in the registry
for one reason or the other.

Upon trying to either automatically allowing these
programs to delete, or using regedit to manually remove
these keys I am blocked from doing so.

In the permissions tab it is claimed I have Allow for
both Full Control and Read.

Can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Colleen

Hi Colleen
I had the same problem, the rights were correct but I could not remove it. I found a work around by retaking ownership of the object, which should work.
