Windows XP pro, sp1.
While control panel - Administrative Tools - Local security policy, I tried to select this item and got the following error message: Snap-in not created, may not be installed properly. Name: Group Policy CLISD {a silly number goes here} What do I do? Thanks, Rob |

I found the problem. I used Reg Organizer 2.2 to clean "unused" stuff
from my registry. I suspected it may have been somewhat overzealous. I undid that operation and then I was able to edit my security policy. The snap-in was able to snap, I guess. Thanks for trying.
