Default Partition in XP Home?

I'm running XP Home edition for Toshiba laptop. I right
clicked the "Basic Disk 0" under "Disk Management, but
didn't see the "Create New Partition". Can anybody tell me
how to partition? It's just because XP Home doesn't have
the function or I was not doing in the right way? Thanks

Hi

Try a 3rd party specialist partitioning program such as:

Acronis PartitionExpert - http://www.acronis.com/products/partitionexpert or

Partition Magic - http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/

Xp home can partition at that point only if its not included on
C: drive (unallocated space). For info on creating volumes/partitions
in xp,use search at microsoft.com,type:307889 or 323442
