after SP2 install, screen resoultion is bad
I actually started from scratch all over again with the original install of
XP w/SP1. At this point, would I be able to copy everything out of WINNT/SYSTEM32/DRIVES to a CD, then if I run into same problem(after upgrading to SP2), I can refer to the CD for he missing drives? Jim;
You need to go to the video card/computer manufacturers website and get the latest Windows XP drivers. Not all drivers are on the Windows CD and if that is the case, reinstalling will never help for a driver that is not available on the CD. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar In memory of our dear friend, MVP Alex Nichol http://www.dts-l.org "jim" wrote in message ... after SP2 is installed, the PC will automatically reboot.
