Cannot delete a user in XP/SP2
I am having an impossible time deleting an user on my XP/SP2 based system.
I have gone into the hard drive and deleted the user, but the account still show up. When I try to make a new user, each time the user is not allowed to be a limited one. Is there a work around or a bug fix? I have tried all I know. Thanks, Nick |

Have you try going to the control panel and doing it under "user account "?
This is where you actually perform this task "Lighthouse Group" wrote in message ... I am having an impossible time deleting an user on my XP/SP2 based system. Thanks, Nick There is no bug in WinXP with respect to creating or deleting users - it's probably your methods. "Gone into the hard drive and deleted the user" does not mean all this much - please be specific and explain just what exactly you did, and where, and someone will show you where you might have taken a wrong turn. |
