Default Changing the default language

I've upgraded to Messenger 7 and it's all in Chinese. How can I set it to
English?

Greetings,

First thing you may want to do is uninstall your current version from Add/Remove Programs
(don't worry, it won't remove any settings/emoticons/etc.). Then reinstall the language
version you want from he
http://messenger.msn.com/download/lang.aspx

Secondly, you may want to check your Passport profile's locale information to make sure that
it's in the correct country:
https://accountservices.msn.com/editprof.srf
