Default URLs in Windows Messenger

When I type or recieve a message containing en URL it's never clickable, I
dunno when this seized up. But I remembered it worked earlier. It there an
option or something to enable/disable this?
What's strange is that when I type an URL in the text-writing part of a
conversation-window, any URL there becomes clickable (becomes blue, with a
hand mouse icon), but as soon as I send the message, it's converted to
plain-text, and I have to copy-n-paste to get to the link. Can it have
anything to do with the fact that I don't use Internet Explorer as default
browser? Tried with both having it as default and not having it - doesn't
matter.

Any ideas?

Default URLs in Windows Messenger

Greetings,

This is a new feature in 5.1.

To turn the links back on, simply download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...ngagelinks.reg

You'll need to restart Messenger to see the change.
