Default multiple monitors : MatroxTripleHead2Go

I have a NVIDIA GeForce GO 7900 GS in my laptop and would like to go to
multiple external monitors.

At 1280 x 1024 my 19" Viewsonic VP930b contains the entire virtual screen.
The max resolution is 2048 x 1536, but the virtual screen extends outside
the physical screen.

If I want to make maximum use of my screen real estate , I believe that a
Matrox TripleHead2Go is the best way to do this.

How many and what size monitors should I buy ?
