How do I take out WM or make it disable??

In Windows XP Service Pack 2, simply go to control panel/add remove
programs, select add/remove windows components... and just uncheck it...
it's toward the bottom of the list.

In pre-sp2 setups it's more complicated... in which case, also for many
other reasons, I'd install sp2

Sure, go to your 'run...' option under (actually over ) the start menu
and type

control userpasswords2

In the window that pops up, simply uncheck 'users must enter their name
and password to login'

and you're done
