Default Can not semd IM to a particular contact on Windows Messenger

Hi,
In our office we use Windows Messenger v 5.1 on Windows XP.

Recently I have been facing trouble in sending IMs to a particular contact.
Everytime I send a message, after a delay of few seconds I get the error
message:
"The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:"

The problem is happening with this particular contact only & that too
recently. One month back I was able to send messages fine.

Firewall should not be an issue because other contact is also in teh same
office & moreover I am able to send messages to other contacts in the same
office.

I am able to see the status of that contact, hence I do not think that I may
have been blocked accidently by that contact.

Please help me in what can be done to resolve this issue.
