Default how to install volume control?

I have a webcam I use to 'talk' to my family overseas but I'm unable to hear
them during video conferencing. When I open All Programs/Entertainment it
does not appear the Volume Control option. Help please!

Hello,

Does sound work with Windows Media player or other audio software?

The volume controller icon should already be on the system tray area at the
bottom right.

Try locating the drivers cd and installing the software for your sound card.
