Hi all
I cannot seem to find a workable solution to this at all. How the solution to this problem managed to escape google's mighty reach is just beyond me! I can find many people experiencing it but not fixing it! i recently installed Samsung PC studio for my mobile phone (which i believe has its own directshow filters/codecs, from what google tells me! Since then, I can only play mpegs using the samsung software. Winamp and windows media cannot play my mpegs at all. Simply put, is there an easy way to revert to the original codecs/filters, without uninstalling pc studio, or being forced to use another program???? Thanks in advance Brad

Reinstall your DVD decoding software... it's usually PowerDVD or WinDVD.

Well you must have had some DVD decoding software if at one time you were
able to play MPEG2 files.
