Default hp 6100 wireless printer

i have a 6100 hp printer that will not work at all for me. I can not get it
to print wireless or when I connect with a usb connector. i do try to update
driver but the system will not let any update to the hp driver??? any help
out there?

Are you logged in as administrator?
Have you uninstalled any existing version of the driver prior to attempting
to install a new one?
Is whatever firewall you are using set up to allow you to "talk" to the
printer?
How are you trying to print via wireless to the printer? Have you setup the
PC for wireless communication before?
