Line command to undelete last file?
In March 2007 Jim wrote the following:
The scenario is this.... I am in XP and delete a file. Perhaps I do it in an application similar to Win Exlorer such as Acdsee. CTRL+Z fails to work. On 29 Mar 2007, Bob I wrote: Please understand Windows does NOT have undelete capabilities. It can only "restore" something from the Recycle Bin. ONLY files "deleted" from Windows Explorer and sent to the Recycle bin may be "restored/undeleted" with Windows features. Any other way you delete a file is unrecoverable by Windows commands, command line or otherwise. You MUST use a 3rd party software to recover them. Bob, I can see I have not been clear! What I should have said is this: Is there a line command in XP which can be issued and which would restore the last file that got put in the recycle bin?

Nope, you need to Open the Bin and Sort by "date deleted" in Details view to find it.
