black flashing box or cursor

Default black flashing box or cursor

Can anyone help me please when I go to type in my address box or type an
e'mail the thin black line that seperates or I think is the cursor?? has gone
like a large black box ,I have tried to live with it but its driving me mad
at the moment & my machine w'nt seem to restore to preivious this problem,can
anyone help please.

Tap the "insert" key on your keyboard and see if that fixes it. You
might be in "overwrite" mode.

Thanks for your suggestion Zilbandy how I did it was to go to an address box
& while it was flashing tap the insert key?? nothing happened probabley
flashed Quicker??? thanks again though

In the Accessibility options there should be a setting for the width of your
cursor.
