You could try using DropMyRights (at least): title Browsing the Web and Reading E-mail Safely as an Administrator /title http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms972827.aspx (Live Search for dropmyrights site:microsoft.com ) --- "Vincenzo Di Russo [MVP]" wrote: PhantomJ wrote: I've been hearing about protected mode in IE 7 and I think it is a great idea. Sadly, when I went the settings, Protected Mode was nowhere in sight. I have no options on it whatsoever. I have IE 7, so what's the deal? Windows Version? The Protected Mode feature is available only in Windows Vista. See: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/200...on-or-off.aspx "Protected Mode for IE7 in Windows Vista - Is it On or Off?"
