Default XP does not log out after period of non use

When I first installed xp with 2 users, after a period of time the computer
would log out the user. The log on screen would come up and I would have to
log on again.

Had some computer problems, took it to a tech. He loaded free spy bot and
changes were made to my computer, the log off after non use is the most
important one.

How do I get that feature back? Would I have to reinstall ZP?

Again - screensaver setting.

First - your accounts MUST have passwords and must be required to enter
those passwords to logon to the machine.
Second - right-click on the background and choose properties and go to the
screensaver tab. There you should set your screensaver to whatever you want
(other than NONE) and check the box for either, "On resume, password
protect" or "On resume, display Welcome screen"...
