windows defender
I recently downloaded WD. although it is set to automatically scan daily at a
set hour--it doesn't. I have to manually scan (I have XP-SP2 // IE-7). Any suggestions? Thanks

Is your computer logged on at the hour you specified for the automatic scan? Is Task Scheduler set to Automatic and in Started Status in System Services?
