apdproxy.exe application error
On startup I receive error message 0xc0150002 which states I need SP1A
reinstalled on my PC. When I try to find SP1a, I find that it is no longer supported by Microsoft. When I check for updates (using Microsoft), I am told that my system is current. I do not know now to correct the error message. Can anyone help? Should I just reinstall Photoshop Elements? -- Thanks for the help. SAM |

Hold down the Windows key and press Pause | Break. On the resulting screen, the service pack level of your operating system is reported. It should be SP3, which came out a couple of weeks ago, but if you don't have that, you should at least have SP2, which came out in August 2004. If you have SP2 or SP3, you already have, and don't need, SP1a. When I check for updates (using Microsoft), I am told that my system is current. I do not know now to correct the error message. Can anyone help? First tell us what SP level you are at. Should I just reinstall Photoshop Elements? apdproxy.exe application error
I have SP 3 but I still get the error message whenever I start up the PC. It
requires I terminate the apdproxy.exe application each time. I know I shouldn't "need" it, I just want to know how to stop the error message. -- Thanks for the help. I know I shouldn't "need" it, I just want to know how to stop the error message. It's apparently some application that's putting up the message. The first thing you need to do is identify what application it is. My guess is that it's a very poorly-written application that doesn't recognize SP as being later than, and including, SP1. Suggest you uninstall Photo Elements then reinstall the program and see if that solves your problem. Rex |
