Default rundll32.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x01012800" referenced memory at "0x01012800". The memory
could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

The above message appears when try to open any of the options within the
control panel? I am therefore unable to add/remove programs or use system
tools.

Hope someone can help.

Dave.

SFC should be able to fix control panel file problems.
Start/run, type:
sfc /scannow
