Is it possible to move the folder where the cookies are stored to another
drive? If so, how can I do it? Thanks SantistaS |

It has to be on the system drive.
You can easily backup your cookies to any drive you like. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est SantistaS wrote: Is it possible to move the folder where the cookies are stored to another drive? If so, how can I do it? Thanks SantistaS |

Yes you can SantistaS. First, copy your Cookies folder to your desired folder on your PC. This can be any drive-folder on your PC that the permissions are set to your favour. Open up your registry and alter the following values at your own peril. Within HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders you'll find a Registry Sting, REG_SZ, called; Cookies Double click it and change it to your other location. Back it up first. Within HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders You'll find the same and do the same. Only this is a Registry Expandable String Value (REG_EXPAND_SZ), like above you really don't need to consider that. You either logoff then back on, or reboot, and you changes shall be in effect. - WindPipe. "SantistaS" wrote in message ...
