Default 2 screens

I just got a 2-screen setup at work. It's pretty cool. Is it possible to
have different wallpapers and screensavers on each without losing the
drag-and-drop capabilities across both screens?

Natively - in Windows XP - no.
With third party applicatios? Yes.
