Default Streaming problem

I have my xbox 360 networked with my pc so i can stream videos etc and watch
them on my tv. Most of my media is on a removable drive [G] but my xbox
can't detect/stream from it any more. It was ok the other day and suddenly
stopped working. It'll stream from the pc itself ok if i turn off the
removable drive, but turn the drive off and it won't stream anything.
WMP is set up to monitor G among others.
