Default Missing Action buttons

Trying to launch hp application and driver recovery to reinstall a bundled
program. The first screen that appears is cropped on the right side and
bottom causing the action buttons to not be visible preventing the program
from continuing past this screen. All other windows and screens are
completely visible. Problem with this application only.
hp cannot help using email and tech chat support.

what you can try is temporarily
modifying the desktop resolution.

That can happen if your display settings cause the text to overlap a
restricted space. Changing the resolution probably won't help; the box
will get smaller too. But the following should: Open Display
Properties, click Settings tab, click Advanced button, and change the
DPI setting to "Normal Size (96 DPI)". Click "OK", or "Apply".

One more thing you can try: press the Tab key till you think you've
selected the right response. If you miss, with three tabs before the
Enter key, try it again with two or four tabs. Sometimes, simply
pressing the Spacebar, or Enter key is interpreted as the expected
response too.

First clean it better. Install, update and run these:

Malwarebytes© Corporation
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/program/mbam-setup.exe

SuperAntispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/supe...freevspro.html

If you still have the same problem after a restart, the images problem
depends on whether you use a browser, such as IE or Firefox to get
webmail, or an email client such as OE or Thunderbird.

Depending on the program you use, look through its options for a way to
allow images. Or post to an IE, OE newsgroup where those experts hang out.

None of the above corrects the problem. I believe this problem began after installing some windows xp updates. The updates altered some of the files in the windows sub directory. HP tech help advises to reinstall the original system software. This would probably fix the problem but I would lose to much data and have to reinstall many of the applications.

The program I want to reinstall is "HP Photosmart Premier". The program for being able to do this is called "HP application and driver recovery". Both og them were part of the software bundle that came with the computer when I bought it.
