hello all,

when i closed ie7, it gave kme the option to open next time with all tabs
in place, but on ie8, its not working. i checked help & found this query &
reply - heres the copy & paste:
Open your last browsing session Click the Tools button, and then
click Reopen Last Browsing Session.

so i click on tools, but the 'reopen last browsing session' is not available
to click on - it is there, in white & wont allow me to click on it - what
might be wrong ? i am not on but a very few minutes due to health issues, so
i dont need to be looking up my old tabs each time i open ie8. is this just
another bug as a result of ms rushing to offer an upgradee browser

thanks and enjoy your weekends

thanks and i know all that, but as stated before, i know many of the great
folks here & feel i can trust them. and didnt think it a big deal; why not
you ask ? because i see and have seen a lot here that are not germane for
this ng, but i don't see you, or the other "post cop" advising them to post
elsewhere. i mean, had you taken the time you spent on telling me to go
elsewhere and at least offered up some help, what harm could have come from
that ? and in a quick scroll down a few lines, i see several others -
probably more - that do not seem they belong here, & yet, no taurarian
advising them this is not the place. so if youre going to continue to
patrol, be consistent & bust all, not just who you feel you want to bust,
okay ? fair is fair.

I suggested that newsgroup as that was the best place for IE assistance.

I think you entirely missed the point of Taurarian's message. She's
not trying to be a "post cop," but giving you good, helpful advice. We
don't all know everything. If you ask your question in the newsgroup
appropriate to it, you are asking where the experts in that technology
hang out, and therefore dramatically increase your chances of getting
a correct helpful answer.

Good luck, Ken - Dallas has had this simple fact pointed out to him many
times; still, it seems, to no avail.

Laziness is my guess - not this "I know and trust many of the great folks
here" nonsense.

yes, I have hasd it pointed out, but unlike yours, which was sincere & I mis
interpreted, the others were of a sarcastic nature. and due all sorts of
medical issues, cancer included, too many meds, lack of sleep & a mind that
is not at all what it once was, i miss things.

so taurian, i do apologize for your genuine offer of assistance as i did
mis understand your motive. and thanks ken for helping out as well.

thank you taurian - please forgive me :-(

may you both have safe, fun weekends ahead.

Apology accepted, I only wanted to guide you to the best place for
assistance. Also at the time these newsgroups were having many problems and
that is why I directed you to an entirely different forum also.

Thanks for the kind words, and of course you're forgiven. Sorry to
hear about your medical problems, and best of luck with them.

Laziness is my guess - not this "I know and trust many of the great folks

I think you entirely missed the point of Taurarian's message. She's
not trying to be a "post cop," but giving you good, helpful advice. We
don't all know everything. If you ask your question in the newsgroup
appropriate to it, you are asking where the experts in that technology
hang out, and therefore dramatically increase your chances of getting
a correct helpful answer.

i mean, had you taken the time you spent on telling me to go
elsewhere and at least offered up some help, what harm could have
come from that ? and in a quick scroll down a few lines, i see
