Default Log on issues

I did a fresh install of Win XP Pro 3 days ago as Administrator only with no
users and no passwords. No problems. I could boot up and windows would
load fully with no log on screen. Just the way I wanted. Boot up - leave
the room - come back and it is up and running.

Without doing anything except full updates, suddenly when Windows boots I
have a log in screen to Ron Patterson (me) user account. If I Start\Run
"control userpasswords2"
to boot to admin acct. - when it boots up only @ 30% of my programs are
installed and none of my previous settings.

How does Windows XP take it upon itself to suddenly create a user account?

How can I get it to boot up to my settings like it used to without a log on
screen?

I have Googled and read most everything on this and can't find an easy
solution.

ps - tweakit did not help.

Ron Patterson
