Device keeps trying to install on every boot even if marked not to
Hi ! I have a HP desktop PC running XP professional version 2002 SP3. Every single time I boot or reboot the PC, I am told that I have a new device called "printer" and it tries to install the drivers for it. And every time, it fails. Needless to say, the three printers I have hooked up are installed and working fine. I have checked the box "not to check for the device", but it still checks everytime. And there are no "?" devices in Device Manager.... What can I do to stop this? It's very annoying !! HELP !!!! |
