Default Sony vaio hdd partitions

Hi,
I have a Sony Vaio that has a hard drive partitioned into a c and d drive as
well as the hidden recovery partition. I want to delete the d partition so I
have one larger drive because the c partition only has 13gb and the d has
40gb. Is there a way to do this without having to go through the hassle of
making a ton of recovery cd's? I tried to do a chat wtih Sony but there timer
ran out. Maybe delete teh d partion using disk manager then doing a recovery?
Thanks,
John

You can use a partion mamager to just resize your C drive. Just take what
you want from your D drive. I'd leave a small D drive so as not to change
anything with the hidden partion. Download a program here. Works great. Read
everything before doing this. http://www.partition-tool.com/

Thank you so much for your response. It looks like the recovery partition is
seperate and hidden from the c and d drive. Is there a way I can find out for
sure? I just want to get the max size for the c drive partition since it is a
moderate size hard drive.
Thanks again,
John

Thanks guys, that was a great program. I can't believe it is a freebee. I had
the d partition deleted and the c partition enlarged in about 1 minute.
Thanks again.
