Default How To Make a CD that plays in Home DVD Player?

you need a DVD player that supports CDR/CDRW, most
usually do, but some can be quite fussy, some will play
CDR but not CDRW, some vice versa... but you also need to
encode a standardized CD, meaning if you want to burn a
video, it needs to be MPEG burned as a VCD

Hi All.
I have made slide shows and video clips that play fine

on computers but I
can't seem to get a CD to play on a home CD/DVD player.

Does any one know
were I can get instructions on how to make a CD that any

one can view? I
did a search and wound up on web sites selling DVD

recorders.
Any help is appreciated.
