Default Poor FPS performance when using Roaming Profiles and Redirected Folders

My network recently was converted to use Roaming Profiles with Folder
Redirection. Since then, playing any games that use DirectX or
OpenGL, or any applications really (including WinDVD, etc.) that use
heavy multimedia, display horrible performance.

If I log on using an account using a Local Profile I get great rates.
In CounterStrike, I get close to 100FPS normally. When logged on with
the Roaming Profile I get something like 12-20FPS.

Does anyone know why this is or how to correct it?
