Default Burning CD's

Hi all -

I have burned some CD's for play on my home CD/CD-
R/CDRW/DVD player however they will not play.

I used the Win XP CD burn function to burn them. They
play fine on the CDRW in my computer, but will not play
on my home player which supposedly supports the above
mentioned formats.

Any suggestions ???

Thanks !

If you burnt mp3 then they don't play on all home players. Newer players
will play mp3's.

Correct, you must use third party software if you are not intending to play
them on a PC.

You don't say what the files are but:

If you are wanting music CDs, you'll have to either burn as CDA (CD Audio
files)
If you are wanting low resolution movies, as VCD
If you are wanting high resolution movies as DVD
