Default How do I configure new subfolders to synchronize?

Hey folks,

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I have been
unable to find any mention of this issue anywhere.

I recently set up my laptop to synchronize files with the
documents folder on my desktop. Both machines are using XP
Pro and the laptop treats the doc folder on the big
machine as a mapped network drive. The file
synchronization works fine, albeit a little strangely from
time to time and any new files or folders I create on my
notebook are copied over to the desktop without incident.

The problem is that while new FILES created on the desktop
are automatically included in the next synch as long as
they're in a folder already set to synch, any new FOLDERS
will be ignored in the synchronization, even if they are
subfolders of other folders that DO synchronize. Further,
any new files created in the non-synch folders will not be
synched, but if I move existing files that are
synchronized into the new folder, that entire FOLDER (the
new folder that now contains older files) is now scheduled
for synchronization.

What I want to do is alter the settings so that any new
folders created on the desktop in the docs folder are
synchronized with the laptop without me having to hand-set
them to be available offline. There has to be a way to do
this, but I can't find any settings that look likely, or
any knowledge base articles that seem to address this
issue. Anybody have an idea?

Cedric
