Default XP Pro Sharing issues

are thereany know issues with residual settings in xp pro from zone alarm? I had a copy installed on a computer, and have since removed it and set up a domain controlled network. I have other xp and 2000 computers connect successfully and share, the xp m
achine can access them and send files to them, but cannot be pinged or be accessed otherwise. remote desktop connection also doesn't not work. I think i have removed most of the msconfig boot files for the firewall, but is there any way to really know?

Thanks!
Max

Hi

It is possible that the release you had isn't uninstalled correctly, have a
look here http://snipurl.com/2wxv for the 'manual' uninstall instructions.
You can also confirm from those instructions whether any ZA components are
still there.

Have you also confirmed that the XP firewall is disabled?

Regards

Bill
