Does HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE apply to everyone that logs into the PC?
I'm adding a "ODBC Data Source" entry 10143 to that looks like this
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI\10143]. Is this entry supposed to apply to everyone that logs into the PC? If not is there some other way to create a "ODBC Data Source" that will apply to anyone that used the PC? I'm running MS SQL Server 2005, on XP Pro SP2 machines This is the complete registry entry ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++ Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI\10143] "Driver"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\SQLSRV32.dll" "Description"="Live Test Data" "Server"="data.adomain.com,2000" "Database"="C10143" "Language"="us_english" "LastUser"="10143" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++ Thanks Kelvin |
