numerous pc's for one printer
I'm trying to set up 2-3 machines with multiple users to use one printer
connected to a 4th machine. All of these machines are part of a LAN. I'm running Win XP pro on all machines. I can set up one user on a machine but then the next user on the same machine can't see the printer. I have done this with W2000 in the past by setting up a global printer in DOS, but I can't find that procedure now. Is there any other way to do this? I don't want to have to buy a print server. This is in a school, so I have a couple of classrooms to set up. Thanks for any help. Phil |

Thanks, I've tried this. I failed to mention that the printer is set up as a
local printer on one machine. Will this tip still work?
