Default re Printer

Hello everybody

I have a problem with my windows XP. I go to my printer settings and
suddenly non of my printers show up there.
I tried to add a new printer but nothing happens. I have a Epson Stylus
Photo R380, and my adobe printers. My Epson printer has been setup on a
Vista computer on the same workgroup. My Labtop running XP and another
Desktop running Windows 2000 have no problems seeing and printing to this
printer.
curious if anybody else came across thid problem.

Thanks
Claudia

The spooler service probably stopped. See this page:

My printers have all disappeared from the Control Panel, Printers & Faxes

thanks for your help. I keep getting the message " The requested service
has already been started.". Still no printers in my control panel. what I
also noticed, when I open any application and go to the print Menu, I can
see the printers and print to it as well.

Claudia
