Default Receiving FAX's

Why is that my computer will not go into standbye mode after automating my
windows fax console?

I have set my modem to allow it to bring the system out of standbye mode in
it's properties and in the services settings for fax console I have also set
to automatic and started. Now my computer will not stay in standbye mode as
it was prior. It should be, (as it once was) that my computer will
automatically go into standbye mode according to the Power Settings of my
choice, then when the fax line that is directly connected to my data/fax
modem rings it should bring my computer out of standbye mode and
automatically receive and print the fax on my printer. However now after
having updated my settings for it to do this the computer wont stay in
standbye mode.

PLEASE HELP!

That would be a question for the modem's manufacturer and the folks who
wrote the driver for it. Have you contacted them and asked?

PLEASE STOP REPLYING JUST TO PROVIDE AN ANSWER TO DIVERT MVP'S!!!

Don't you have anything better to do?

If you don't have a tangible solution to my question please do not bother
replying, it only makes it appear as though it has been answered when
there's a + next to it!
