My administrative tools folder is suddenly empty, how can I safely restore
this. Doing a system restore is not an option, as that is not working. |

Thank you, this did exactly what you said it would. Sadly, I am replacing
my "E" drive with a larger drive, and I want it be "E" - apparently I need the "Computer Management" administrative tool, and it did not restore that one. Can someone assist in manually adding it to the folder, or at least my desktop. Thanks Joe "Nepatsfan" wrote in message ... "Joseph Ferraro" wrote in message ... First off, there are other ways of running the Computer Management console. The
easiest is to right click on My Computer and select Manage from the menu. Or you could go to Start - Run and enter compmgmt.msc in the Open box. If you want a shortcut in the Administrative Tools folder, do the following. Right click on an open spot in the folder and select New - Shortcut from the menu. Copy and paste the following command into the location box. %SystemRoot%\system32\compmgmt.msc /s Hit the Next button. Name your new shortcut Computer Management and hit the Finish button.
