gifs won't save
I had such problems with the OS (XP Home SP3) that I did a complete
reinstallation to solve the numerous issues. Everything is up and running fine again except that I can no longer save gif images as gif, they always save as Animation Shop Animation, both from within the programmes installed on the PC and also from the web. I have the option to save them in the drop down box as gif but when I do this they still save in the other format. Any ideas guys? Cheers! |

You need to re-associate the *.gif with IE. It is now associated with Animation Shop
Animation as you posted. To do this go to Control Panel\Folder Options\File Types and scroll down to *.gif and set the association back to default which is IE -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged.
